Ronit Eden is an independent curator living and working in Amsterdam.
She holds a degree in design and architecture. Since 1989, she has worked as an interior architect and as an exhibition designer for major museums in Israel and the Netherlands.
She curates and produces exhibitions focused on contemporary art in and around the Netherlands. Her particular interest lies in art that engages with historical and cultural events shaping political identity. She also curates exhibitions that explore and question the museum’s role in shaping personal identity and fostering community affiliation.
In addition, she has organized and led research trips into the art scenes of Israeli and Palestinian societies, involving more than 65 professionals from the Dutch art world.
With her background in both design and curating, Eden teaches workshops on the relationship of our body between space and objects for students of art and architecture. These workshops combine practical and theoretical exercises to create a core learning experience.
Eden is a member of IKT, the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art.
