The glittered ballet tutu dress burst forth out of the dark like a souvenir from the past. It is indeed a souvenir from the artist's
childhood who kept it as evidence of distant dreams. Despite the accuracy of the details there is a lot of room for imagination; in this way it remains a desire to be filled.
In her art work Gur Zeev is inspired by the relationship with her family and close friends; people from her past and present life play the main role. Here, the memory turns to a shining jewel which has saturated all the light around it and the rest remains dark.
