Short, dense lines are etched onto a thin wood board, cutting into the surface. The artist uses a simple ball-point pen to trace and cross the texture of the wood, drawing sensual flowers reminiscent of the human body. These flowers emerge cross by cross and line after line, in a laborious work that seems almost obsessive. This is not an enchanted garden, but rather a garden that has grown wild, with its imaginary flowers on the verge of breaking free of the board.
