In his famous performance: How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare, Joseph Beuys walked from one art work to the other in the gallery talking to the dead animal on his arm. If in his performance the artist head was coated in honey and gold leaf, here in this work of Ruthi, the hare is the one who wear the golden leaf. She is the one who stands solemn wearing her festive dress accompany with full moon. In this case the hare in the picture is the Shaman.
