Line by line, Serlin carves the image of her friend. Line by line, she reconstructed her last movements before the memory of them will disappear. Even if the face is already blurred and the memory is deceptive, the motion of the hand gathering the dress will remain forever engraved.

In the engraving process, erasing is as relevant as the drawing itself - similarly to our memory, all that we forget is as valuable as what we remember.
