In betweenclassic paintings, in between the heart of consensus western art- the one that sees itself as the center of culture of the 20th century, hangs upside down a photo of people from somewhere in the “third world”. On the floor in front of the photo lays a gold framed mirror that reflects the photography. In this way the viewer sees "correct" the photographed.
It is an art work of the great artist Alfredo Jaar. Doeshe say with this work that the classic museum visitor needs gold a frame mirror to be able to see “the other”?
