In such a serious competition like de Volkskrant Art Award 2015, I discovered this humoristic work . The artist Bran De Jonghe used an old hammer and added an ear as a natural organ of it. Like other works of the artist in this exhibition, his combination of different elements raises rhetorical questions about useless functions.
