Intended to be an international event, however felt very German. Like the work by Sofie Bird Møller ( Denemark), which reminds me etchings of Albrecht Dürer and not only because of the technique.  Like Dürer she paints her female figures related to dramas and relevant stories from life.
Dürer was intrigued by figures from the bible; Møllers heroes are figures from the advertisements world, from fashion magazines. The models are her heroes. But like Durer’s “Melencolia”, her figures living partly in a nightmare.
