Castrum Peregrini Amsterdam. It is known that what protects you at the same time may imprison you. On the left side of her drawing “Tzigane” (detail) Jasmijn Visser started with cubes and simple forms. Gradually the forms develop into cages. Than different ways to escape are added to them, such as stairs and ramps. In the end of the drawing on the right side, when it is not clear anymore if you can get in or have to run out, all collapses into an hurricane of white red band.
