Even without the reflection of the spot light in the photograph the trees look shining. The trees of Awoiska van der Molen freeze a moment. Not just because this is the essence of photography, but also because the lighted parts seem to look like they are covered with ice. It feels cold, it feels as if the artist took distance and has no sentiments to the objects. She, van der Molen, was there to create and capture this moment.
