When I looked at this photo of Christopher Payne my first thoughts were about a pile of extremely big sweets. But very fast it became clear that it is a pile of colorful pillows from different couches. The colorful furniture and the green "relaxing" walls in the places, promise a future which is a big doubt for the people who used them. The photo is part of a series that were taken in different deserted psychiatric hospitals in the USA.
