Ilya and Emilia Kabakov curated the exhibition Lissitzky - Kabakov, Utopia and Reality. They combine their own works together with El Lissitzky’s. From drawings to models, through sculptures and installations you could see how much hope they all had. Even after the disenchantments   of revolutions they were still creating sentimental images. The big difference I found between them: Lissitzky was a dreamer who planned projects flowing in the air, the Kabakovs are dreamers who plan projects looking for ground.
