This painting hangs in the museum as part of the permanent exhibition. Here you see part of triptych which Peter van Dongen depicting a working day in the port. Although he relate it to the connections between the Netherlands with the colonies in the past, there is a strong Deja-vu with this scene; dark people led by not dark guards to an unknown destination.
