In a separate hall screening video art work of Titus Simoens: Haar en Hem: on a white surgeons table or maybe altarlies a woman. Undulating her body changes from its heads to the legs to a man's body and returns toa woman and so forth. Fascinating is the wavelike movements, the changes from one gender to another are not taking place instantaneous and sometimes creates androgynous view like this one on the photo. The naked body positioned in this way relates to dramas in our culture: the sacrifice of Isaac to “The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp” painted by Rembrandt in 1632.
