A chapel for Maradona, the football champion, with his photo in the middle surrounded by the Pope and other saints. Maradona as an idol and football as a religion are part of the exhibition: ‘Football Hallelujah!’. Football and the history of Amsterdam, rituals, differences between people and what connects them – all these topics and more are part of the exhibition. My son and his friend (young teenagers) were fascinated by the stories about football and understood the power of history and religion.
